Scholarships are awarded as a fixed percentage reduction in fees, usually between 5 and 20%. They are awarded for the full seven years of the Senior School from Year 7 to Year 13 and they are reviewed annually.
Eligibility
All pupils sitting the Entrance Examination are automatically assessed for Academic Scholarships.
Selection process
Pupils demonstrating exceptional promise will be invited for an Academic Scholarship interview the week commencing 11th January 2027. Selected candidates will have a choice of critical thinking questions to answer and discuss during their interview.

- Representing the school at curriculum events
- Collaborating with Sixth Form scholars
- Specific preparation for national and international competitions
- Scholar society programme: each half-term, scholars will come together for a workshop and discussion targeted at university or career preparation
- Mentoring from specialist staff: 1:1 mentoring about academic progress with recommendations on how to widen learning
- Scholar society open mic: each term, scholars will be invited to present at an informal event for parents, teachers and special guests.
