Congratulations to Sophie in Year 2 who won the KS1 Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTA) autumn competition theme which was Elf & Safety, Be Bright, Be Seen

The competition was run by the Bromley Borough School Travel Plan Team which received an abundance of entries from KS1 and KS2 nominated Junior Travel Ambassadors.  The JTA scheme is a programme designed for primary school pupils to take the lead in promoting safe, active and independent travel within their school communities.

The pupils were given a template of an Elf which they dressed in bright clothing so that he or she can be seen when out in the snow at night. They were asked to think about their journey to and from school as the clocks had gone back and the nights were longer.

Sophie received a £25 voucher for winning the competition. Bromley High Junior School will be running a follow-up competition in the new year for KS1 2nd and 3rd winners and 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners in KS2.  Watch this space!
