This term we were delighted to welcome the critically acclaimed children’s author, Sophy Henn, to Bromley High Junior School where the girls had the opportunity to listen to Sophy talking about her creative journey as an award winning author and illustrator.
Sophy is the creator of much-loved characters and her picture books have garnered widespread acclaim for their bold illustration and heartwarming story lines. These include the ‘Pizazz’ and ‘Bad Nana’ series of books as well as the much loved ‘Where Bear?’ and ‘Lifesize Animals’ series.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to meet and listen to an acclaimed author and we hope that Sophy’s visit enabled them to gain a greater insight into the creative process and will also inspire them further in their own reading and writing.
