Year 12 artist runner up in the Sarah Berman Award

Congratulations to Year 12 Artist Gemma Bailey, who was runner up in the Sarah Berman Award for Works on Paper in the Expanded Field of Drawing.

Sara is a visual artist with an MFA from Slade School of Art. Her practice focuses on painting and textiles and she has shown widely in London, New York, Hong Kong and LA.

This award has been organised by Stuck-In, an exciting initiative supporting young creatives during the pandemic by providing access to work experience in creative industries.  Although she was runner up, the judges liked Gemma and her work so much they have awarded her the special opportunity of work placement with the renowned fashion brand Preen in the build-up to their catwalk show.  Well done, Gemma!
