Year 11 pupils at Bromley High School are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results this year, having attained an impressive 28% grade 9s, with 52% at A* (grades 9-8). Nearly one in ten (9%) pupils achieved nine or more grade 9s.
Bromley High School GCSE 2026 highlights:
- Nearly three-quarters (74%) of grades were 9-7 (A* – A grades), rising to 88% for grades 9-6 (A* – B)
- 15% of pupils scored straight grades 9-8 (A*)
- Pupils performed excellently across subjects, with some very strong grade 9 performances in all three Sciences, History, English Language, Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish), Physical Education and Religious Studies
- As in previous years, performances in Design Technology, Computer Science and Drama were also strong with 66% of pupils securing grades 9-8 (A*)
- Impressively, in Latin, Ancient Greek and History, around three-quarters (70-75%) of pupils attained a grade 9 or 8 (A*)
- 87% of pupils achieved grades 9-7 (A*- A) in Maths
