Congratulations to Upper Sixth pupil Lily who has been awarded the Bromley High Sondheimer Prize. This is a well-deserved prize reflecting Lily’s commitment, curiosity and initiative.
The annual prize of two £1,000 awards is donated by Professor Sondheimer in memory of his late wife, Janet who attended Bromley High School. She went on to be a Trustee of the GDST for 34 years, and was passionate about education, particularly women’s education.
The prize is awarded each year for students leaving Sixth Form to go onto university to study history or allied studies.
