On Saturday 20th January, Lily Meers, Amelie Willars and I (Hannah Clark) all travelled down to Dover for the Kent School’s Cross Country Championships, which we qualified for from the Bromley Schools Cross Country in November. We were to run against year 8’s and 9’s and the weather was awful, very wet, extremely cold and the mud was thick but that wasn’t going to dampen our spirits. We all went out fast and working our way through the field, Lily finished 5th overall followed by me in 9th place and Amelie doing a great sprint home to finish 35th. Out of all of the year 8’s, Lily came 2nd, I came 4th and Amelie finished 18th. Despite the weather, we all enjoyed it and it was a great team effort by all.

We also made up the Bromley Borough team which came 1st overall.
