Year 3 pupils were grateful and emotional to receive a letter of thanks from Balmoral Castle on behalf of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, for their environment and community work.
In June 2022, the pupils took part in litter picking in Jubilee Country Park which borders the school. The land was bought by Bromley Council in 1977 and was named in honour of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee so it seemed a fitting place to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
The girls wrote a letter to the Queen to let her know about their community service (shown below), and were very grateful to receive a response from Balmoral Castle dated 6th September, two days before the Queen sadly passed away.
The school has a book of condolence in both Junior and Senior School reception areas for the community to leave tributes for Her Majesty.
