Year 6 travelled back in time to ancient Egypt, creating perfumed wax cones, crafting shabtis, making bread and a host of other activities.
In the afternoon, they used dance and drama to tell stories from ancient Egypt before enjoying a grand celebration in the presence of Pharaoh Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti. The girls dressed in traditional clothes adorned with precious gems and jewels, making them feel the part.
Everyone involved had a wonderful day and we would like to thank the children for such fantastic enthusiasm!
