Congratulations to Year 4 pupil Lydia, for raising over £380 for homeless charity The Connection at St Martin’s. The charity helps the homeless recover from life on the streets and move towards a meaningful, fulfilling future.
After a recent trip to London, Lydia was very upset after coming face-to-face with a number of homeless people and decided to hold a bake sale to raise money for the homeless. Thanks to the generosity of her neighbours she sold 100 cupcakes, raising £245.
She has raised a further £135 from donations from complete strangers who have been touched by Lydia’s kindness.
