Year 3 took part in environmental and community work by litter gripping in Jubilee Country Park which borders the school.
The land was bought by Bromley Council in 1977 and was named in honour of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee so it seemed a fitting place to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. The girls will later write letters to the Queen to let her know about their community service.
The weather was glorious and the litter was scarse, which gave the girls more time to enjoy the beauty of the park just on the school’s doorstep.
