During half term, a group of Year 9 pupils set off to France, staying in Vélizy-Villacoublay near Paris.
On the first day, the group went up the tallest skyscraper in the capital, the Tour Montparnasse. They then headed to the Eiffel Tower and had a French baguettes for lunch. In the afternoon they took a tour around the River Seine on the Bâteaux-Mouches and visited Notre Dame.
On the second day the pupils did a town trail in Brie-Comte-Robert and shopped at the local market. They then visited the beautiful Montmartre and Sacré-Coeur where they had the opportunity to buy souvenirs. They also had a lovely ice-cream in the Jardins des Tuileries after the Louvre.
They spent the last day in Disneyland Paris and enjoyed the numerous rides and spending time with their friends.
“We had a brilliant time in France and we thank all the teachers for giving us such a lovely experience of what French life is like.”Year 9 pupil
