Year 9 pupils recently enjoyed a well-earned day out at Go Ape in the beautiful Bedgebury National Pinetum. Following a busy week of examinations, the sunshine and fresh air provided the perfect setting for a memorable and well-deserved break.
The day began with a series of ground-based team challenges, encouraging pupils to develop their problem-solving skills and work collaboratively. These activities set the tone for a day focused on teamwork, resilience, and mutual support.
The highlight of the trip was the treetop adventure course. Tackling rope bridges, swinging obstacles and exhilarating zip-lines, pupils challenged themselves to step outside their comfort zones as they navigated the course high among the trees. Their determination and enthusiasm were clear to see as they embraced each new challenge.
Throughout the day, Year 9 pupils demonstrated impressive confidence, teamwork and camaraderie, making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all involved and a fitting way to celebrate the end of their exams.
