Huge congratulations to Year 9 pupil Ameli who was awarded four trophies and three first places at this year’s Beckenham Music Festival. As a result, she has been invited to participate in the Musician of the Year competition taking place this weekend.
At the Festival, Ameli achieved a distinction and first place in the Open Chopin Category, a distinction and first place with the Norman Mayhew Cup in the Piano Recital (Age 14-15), a distinction and first place with the Nicole Chan Cup in the Piano Sonatina/Sonata (Age 12-15) and the Markson Trophy for most Outstanding Piano Solo Age 14 and over.
