As part of our ‘Living in the Wider World’ PSHE topic for this half term, Year 8 pupils enjoyed a team building day.
The girls worked with new people in their year as they put their problem solving skills to the test to complete various challenges.
Half way through the day the pupils were asked what they had learnt from the tasks they had achieved and how they represented living in the wider world. Some pupils said it had taught them to be more resilient and try again even if they had failed the first time. Others said it had taught them to listen and respect everyone’s opinions.
“The activities taught me to communicate with my team more and sometimes step down from being a leader and letting my friends share their ideas.” Lucy, Year 8 pupil
