Just before half term, the girls in Year 6 took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge alongside their Senior School sisters.
Even though the annual mathematics competition is aimed at pupils in Year 7 and 8, our Junior pupils took part due to their love of mathematical problem solving!
The girls gained two gold, seven silver and 15 bronze certificates overall and were thrilled with their results. We even had one pupil just a single mark off the Junior Kangaroo level which is the follow-on round to the Junior Maths Challenge.
