Last week, Year 6 pupils embarked on an exciting residential trip to northern France, where they enjoyed a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and fun.

The girls took part in a wide variety of thrilling activities, including archery, fencing, climbing, and zip-lining through the treetops. These energetic moments were balanced by opportunities to explore the region’s rich history, with visits to the magnificent Fougères Castle and the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel.

A favourite experience for many was browsing a bustling local market, where the girls practised their French and sampled the local culture. Each day brought something new – whether it was conquering a climbing wall or stepping back in time at a medieval landmark.

The trip was not only memorable but also a wonderful chance for the girls to bond, grow in confidence, and deepen their appreciation for French life. Year 6 returned home with lasting memories from an unforgettable adventure!

“This trip was the perfect end to our wonderful Junior School years. I loved practising my French and spending quality time with my friends. I can’t wait for more adventures during our Year 7 residential trip in Senior School next year!”Holly, Year 6 pupil
