Year 5 and 6 pupils compete in Bromley Primary Schools Cross Country

Congratulations to members of the Year 5 and 6 cross country squad who competed at the Bromley Primary Schools Cross Country annual race event at Crystal Palace.

Over 1,000 children completed the course and the Bromley High Junior School teams made an amazing effort in each of their race categories, which saw over 300 girls competing in each race.

Beatrice had a standout performance, finishing the Year 5 team race in fifth position. She stayed with the leading pack throughout and had a strong battle for the line to achieve her final position. The Year 5 girls achieved 15th position overall out of the 25 competing schools. Well done to Beatrice, Helen, Madeline, Rakhi, Nimree and Madeleine.

The Year 6 team achieved 13th position overall out of 30 competing schools. Well done to Dora, Holly, Eliza, Sophie, Abigail, Amee, Hanna and Alice.

We look forward to watching Year 3 and 4 compete next term.
