Year 3 pupils recently proved that teamwork makes the dream work during their thrilling “Mission Possible” team-building day, culminating in the highly anticipated Year 3 sleepover.
The day began with the Year 3 pupils embarking on a series of carefully designed challenges, all aimed at solving the intriguing mystery of ‘who stole the pie?’ Each challenge demanded collaboration, communication and creative problem-solving.
“They approached each task with such enthusiasm, learning to listen to each other’s ideas, delegate roles and cheer on their teammates. These are invaluable life skills disguised as fun!”Mrs Kasza-Martin-Hicks, Year 3 Teacher
After successfully solving the mystery, the girls were treated to a well-deserved movie and pizza night. In the early evening, the girls ventured to the Forest School, where they enjoyed weaving activities, roasted marshmallows over an open fire and sang campfire songs, truly embracing the outdoor adventure.
As dusk settled, the excitement shifted gears for the sleepover. Armed with sleeping bags, they transformed the school hall into a cosy den. Before settling down for the night, the girls had the special treat of reading a story with Mrs Dickerson in the library, complete with their pyjamas and cherished teddies.
The sleepover provided a unique opportunity for the girls to strengthen their friendships in a relaxed and supportive environment, fostering a deeper sense of community within the year group.
