Congratulations to Year 12 Art student Yana, who, after being selected from our internal heats, presented at the Articulation Prize 2025 at Dulwich Picture Gallery earlier this month.
The Articulation Prize is a nationally renowned annual event run by The National Gallery, designed to inspire the appreciation and discussion of art. The Prize encourages students aged 16-19 to engage with art, regardless of their background or prior experience, while developing their confidence and ability to express their thoughts, opinions, and analysis.
As one of the selected competitors at the event, Yana delivered a compelling presentation on Tracey Emin’s My Bed. This year, over 1,000 students across the UK participated, and Yana did exceptionally well to make it this far, competing against a remarkable pool of talent from schools across the country.
While she didn’t progress to the finals, Yana’s performance was outstanding, and she should be incredibly proud of her achievement. She now joins the Articulation Alumni Network, gaining access to valuable opportunities in the art world, including paid work and further experiences.
