On Tuesday 12th October, the under 15 Football GDST Rally took place in Northampton.
In match one of the group games the Bromley High team unfortunately lost 1-0 to Streatham and Clapham High School. After reflecting on the team’s lack of communication in the first match, the girls refocused and bounced back in the second d game which they won 2-0 against Sheffield. In the third game the team won 1- 0 against Royal Bath. It was a solid attacking performance. In the fourth group game the girls scored great goals and secured the 2-0 win against Putney.
The Bromley High under 15 team ended up coming top of their group and went straight through to the semi-finals. They played Putney a second time and showed great determination resulting in a 4-0 win.
In the final, the team played Oxford, a very strong team. Event though Bromley High ended up losing 3-1, the girls gave it a great go and definitely weren’t beaten easily. Well done team!
'I am proud of the team, we showed great teamwork and courage throughout the tournament.'
