Year 10 pupil Alyssa closed her indoor season on a high, winning two Gold medals for 300m and shot put and a Silver medal on 60m hurdles at the Kent Indoor Championships.

Alyssa started off the weekend with a 60 metre hurdle race and narrowly placed second, despite not scoring her indoor personal best (9.44i), she was happy with her performance.

The next day, Alyssa’s first event was shot put where she placed first and scored an 11cm personal best. Later that day and despite a rough start, Alyssa managed to pull through and win the gold for the 300 metre race with a time not too far off her indoor personal best of 42.76.

We look forward to Alyssa starting her outdoor season!
