The Bromley High School under 9 netball team recently travelled to Sevenoaks School for their first 7-a-side tournament.
The girls were placed in a pool with some strong teams and performed brilliantly, winning four matches and losing two very close games by just one goal. This meant they finished second in their group and qualified for the semi-finals.
They played an excellent match against The Granville School, showing great determination and teamwork, narrowly losing by two goals. The team then regrouped and focused for one final match against Walthamstow Hall to decide third and fourth place. After an intense eight minutes of play, they secured a narrow victory to finish an impressive third out of 13 schools.
This was a fantastic result for the team in their first 7-a-side tournament. Congratulations to the girls, whose hard work and commitment in training clearly paid off!
