Two teams of Bromley High School pupils recently competed at the Kent Schools Ski Championships, held at the Chatham dry ski slope, with both the Junior and Senior School teams achieving excellent results.
The Junior School team (Years 5 and 6) delivered an outstanding performance, skiing with confidence, control and determination against strong competition. Their efforts were rewarded as they were crowned overall winners in the Primary Girls Team category. Congratulations to India-Rose, Annabel, Audra and Catherine!
The Senior School team also performed superbly throughout the competition. They secured a third-place finish overall in the Female Senior Secondary category, an excellent result in a highly competitive field. Congratulations to Scarlett (Year 11), and Year 9 pupils Jessica and Alice!
In the individuals, Jessica won the girls junior secondary school category (for Years 7, 8 and 9) and was the overall second fastest of the day.
All of the girls represented the school with great enthusiasm and commitment, reflecting the hard work put in during training sessions in the lead-up to the event.
