Prize Giving is always one of the highlights of the Senior School calendar at Bromley High School, and this year’s celebration, held on Tuesday 7th July, was no exception. Families, staff and pupils came together to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our pupils throughout the academic year.
The morning was a celebration of the dedication, perseverance and talent demonstrated by our pupils, both inside and outside the classroom. Their commitment to learning, their contribution to school life and the kindness they show to one another continue to make Bromley High School such a special community. We are immensely proud of everything they have accomplished over the past year.
We were delighted to welcome back Bromley High School alumna Amelia Clapham, CEO and Founder of ACE Music Therapy, as our guest speaker. Amelia established ACE Music Therapy, a social enterprise based in Essex with a nationwide reach, with the vision of making music therapy as accessible as talking therapies are today. A lifelong advocate for the transformative power of music, Amelia graduated with a degree in Music and German before completing a Master’s in Music Therapy. Now a Senior Music Therapist and qualified Clinical Supervisor, she has worked across a wide range of clinical settings, supporting people of all ages through the life changing impact of music. In her inspiring address, Amelia reflected on her journey from Bromley High School to leading a thriving social enterprise, encouraging pupils to pursue their passions with purpose, resilience and compassion.
Our sincere thanks go to Dominic Broom, Chair of Governors, for his warm welcome and his continued support of Bromley High School. As he concludes his long tenure of dedicated service to the School, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for his unwavering commitment, leadership and generosity. His contribution to the Bromley High School community has been greatly valued, and we thank him for everything he has done to support the School.
