The Modern Foreign Languages department celebrated Languages Week, offering many activities for all year groups across the Senior School.
Sophie Lau, a polyglot and alumna of the GCST, gave a very thought-provoking assembly on the importance of learning languages. This was followed by a career workshop in French, German, and Spanish for all Year 10 pupils.
Lunchtimes were filled with many cultural and creative activities, including the ever-popular making of lavender bags, Bavarian hats, a Latin treasure hunt, a pétanque competition, and Spanish charades.
The week ended with Year 8 and Year 9 pupils leaving for Paris on Friday: a wellbeing week for all!
