On Tuesday, Bromley High School participated in the ESU Mace regional debating competition, held at Eltham College.

Year 13 pupils Ramya and Shreya, along with Year 11 pupil Mahi, spoke on the topic, ‘This House would ban the use of facial recognition technology in public spaces’. The team presented insightful arguments about the nature of democracy and the importance of protecting the most vulnerable members of society.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the debating experience and appreciated the opportunity to meet other young debaters.
