Yesterday, our Early Years pupils celebrated Diwali, the five-day Festival of Lights which is celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world.
Dressed in traditional Indian clothing, the pupils learnt about the story of Rama and Sita and made and decorated lanterns from the story. The girls also made Diya lamps, did some Indian dancing, tasted different Indian foods and made Rangoli patterns. Both pupils and teachers had a wonderful day.
