Congratulations to Year 9 pupil Millicent and Year 10 pupil Georgi who have been selected for the U14 and U15 Girls Kent Hockey teams this season.
Millicent was one of 24 girls selected for the team out of hundreds who attended the U14 trials and was one of only three girls in the final squad who played every single game. She was also nominated as captain, leading the team to win eight out of nine games. This meant they they topped the county league in their age group. A fantastic achievement for the side. This nomination for captain was a huge honor for Millicent. She stepped up to the role fantastically, working exceptionally hard to lead by example and make the most of her opportunity.
Year 10 pupil Georgi has been selected for the U15 county squad, competing alongside some of the best players in the area. Millicent and Georgi are training with Sevenoaks Hockey Club.
