This year, pupils from Years 5 to 8 took part in the Bebras Computing Challenge, developing their computational thinking and achieving fantastic results.
Year 5 took part in the practice challenge in preparation for the competition in Year 6, with over half the year group achieving a Distinction or Merit! wWell done Year 5!
Year 6 entered the Juniors (age 10–12) category and achieved outstanding results. One third of the year group ranked in the top 10% nationally, earning a Gold certificate and an invitation to the next coding round in 2026. Congratulations Year 6!
Year 7 also entered the Juniors category and achieved excellent results, with eight students ranking in the top 10% nationally and earning a Gold certificate.
Year 8 participated for the first time in the Intermediates category (age 12–14) and achieved tremendous results, with 12 pupils earning a Gold certificate. Students who received a Gold certificate in both years have also gained an invitation to the next coding round in 2026.
