Last weekend, over eighty Year 10 pupils took part in their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Practice Expedition around Shoreham and Limpsfield Chart.
With sunny weather and high spirits, pupils worked in teams to navigate the varied terrain using maps and compasses. Some groups covered more miles than planned, but all gained valuable experience and learned the importance of accurate navigation and teamwork.
The practice expedition was a great opportunity to build confidence and skills ahead of the upcoming Qualifier Expedition in June. Staff were impressed by the pupils’ resilience and positive attitude throughout the two days.
Well done to everyone involved for making it such a successful and memorable experience!
