Sir Bob Neill visited school this week to discuss life in parliament, his background and move into politics, as well as highlighting the most pressing current affair topics.

Sir Bob Neill studied Law at the London School of Economics, which led to a successful career as a barrister specialising in criminal law before moving into politics.  He explained to our pupils how best to prepare themselves for a career in law, as well as encouraged them to pursue their interests in politics.  The students found the visit very informative, with many of them asking detailed and mature questions.

He was re-elected as the MP for Bromley and Chislehurst with an increased majority in the December 2019 General Election, and in the New Year Honours list published shortly afterwards, was knighted for political service.

As a resident of Chislehurst, Bob is closely involved with a raft of local organisations and meets regularly with residents and community groups, voluntary organisations and local businesses to hear their views, campaign on their behalf and represent their concerns.
