Earlier this week, GCSE and Sixth Form pupils enjoyed the opportunity to explore issues of international business, economics, politics and geography with Quah Wei Vei, a Master’s student at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

Wei Vei talked about her work with Nepalese migrant workers and their families, and also about her most recent project on migrant workers in Qatar. At the heart of her talk and the following discussion were questions of human rights, fairness and justice.

Wei Vei also shared the story of the path she has followed from being an A-level student in Malaysia to her current work in Geneva. Her message to Bromley High School pupils was to try to discover and do the things you love and that matter most to you, and know that whatever you do really can help to build a better world.
