Last Thursday, Bromley High School hosted its first Middle School ‘Two the Beat’ after‑school Parent & Daughter Dance Session. It was nothing short of spectacular – truly surpassing all expectations! The energy in the room was electric, filled with laughter, rhythm, and connection.
It was wonderful to see mums and dads stepping onto the dance floor alongside their daughters from Years 5, 6, 7, and 8. In total, 35 parents joined in! Together, they learned a fun commercial jazz routine, performed it with pride, and then relaxed with a freestyle dance game to finish. The smiles and laughter said it all – pure joy and creativity.
This event wasn’t just about dance; it was about building strong relationships, creating lasting memories, and celebrating what Middle School is all about: connection, confidence, and community. Everyone left with that feel‑good factor that makes our school so special.

Due to popular demand, this event will be moving to a bigger space for future sessions… and yes, there is much more to come! Thank you to everyone who joined in and made this experience unforgettable. Here’s to more moments that bring us together!
