Congratulations to Lower Sixth pupil and Deputy Head girl Aimee, who will represent the South East of England at the Microsoft Council for Digital Good summit in Paris later this month.

The Microsoft Council for Digital Good offers teens and Microsoft a way to discuss online safety topics of interest and concern, while providing council members with a platform to share their views on 21st-century issues affecting them. The programme is designed so that both the youth and the company hear, understand and learn from each other as we all seek to create a safer, kinder and more empathetic digital world.

The summer summit in Paris will comprise of council discussions, dialogues with guest speakers, engagement with Microsoft representatives, individual and full-cohort assignments, and fun activities.

Having previously delivered a keynote speech to MPs in the House of Commons to raise the profile of the Childnet Digital Leaders Programme, this is a fantastic opportunity for Aimee to gain new skills and experiences whilst representing the school on a global stage.
