Last Wednesday, the Junior School Sports Day showcased Prep and Hawthorn pupils in a superb display of sporting prowess and house spirit.

The day kicked off with the Preps, who showcased their skills in a variety of field events before moving on to exciting track races. The afternoon saw Hawthorn’s take center stage. Throughout the day, all athletes demonstrated incredible speed, power, and team spirit, excelling in jumps, runs, and throws.

A special shout-out goes to our amazing Year 6 pupils, who displayed excellent leadership skills. They not only supported the Preps through all their events but also created fantastic banners of support for their respective houses, adding to the day’s festive atmosphere.

It was a truly memorable day filled with impressive athletic achievements and wonderful sportsmanship from everyone involved!

Congratulations to both House winners: Elizabeth Windsor, our Prep Sports Day Champions, and Malala Yousafzai, our Hawthorn Sports Day Champions.

“Sports Day is a day where we get to express our passion for sport. It was one of the most exciting days of the school year!” Niamh, Year 5 pupil
