Our Junior School pupils have once again demonstrated exceptional creativity and skill in this year’s digit<all> Code Awards, showcasing their passion for technology and innovation.
Following Junior School pupil Ariana’s success last year, she has this year won the IT Pioneer category with her machine learning project that uses AI to train a machine to recognise and sort fruit – a healthy use of technology! Ariana will receive an Amazon voucher and a beautiful trophy for the school.
Congratulations also to other entrants this year. Year … pupil Charlotte will receive an Amazon voucher for her presentation about Steve Jobs and Apple as a commended entry in the IT Pioneer category. Amaya was commended for her online safety Scratch quiz in the Digital Wellbeing category.
“I was delighted that Lukshmi in Year 6 was a finalist in the Digital Storytelling with Canva category and that the Year 5 Digital Leaders were finalists for all their hard work this year in the Digital Leadership category. Congratulations to all!” Mrs Shallcross, Head of Computing (Junior School).
