Earlier this week, 30 pupils from the Junior School cross country team from Years 3 to 6 took part in the James Allen’s Girls School (JAGS) Cross Country race.
Each year group competed in a race of almost 1km across the fields and paths of the JAGS campus, with over 60 girls competing in each race, representing eight schools in total.
The girls did a fantastic job, with all our runners finishing in the top 40. Stand out performances were from Orla who finished second in the Year 3 race, Beatrice who finished fourth in the Year 5 race and Lucy who finished first also in the Year 5 race.
Overall Year 3 were placed third, Year 4 sixth place, Year 5 second place and Year 6 fifth place. Well done to all the girls who ran!
