We are delighted to introduce our new Junior School House Captain team.
We have four Houses in the Junior School which are named after female authors: Austen, Brontë, Rowling and Crompton. Each House is led by a team Captains from Year 6, who are democratically elected twice a year by all the girls from Reception upwards.
Our House system encourages a broad social life across forms and year groups, as younger pupils come under the care of older and more experienced pupils.

Favourite subject: My favourite subject is English. I love English because I enjoy immersing myself in books and thinking up my own stories and imaginary places.
Future aspirations: When I grow up, I am interested in becoming a human rights lawyer because I am very keen to help refugees, countries at war and girls’ rights.
Alexa
Favourite subject: My favourite curriculum subjects in school are Games and English. I am very sporty and enjoy taking part in different sports and I also love spending time writing.
Future aspirations: I really enjoy the game of hockey and I would love to become a professional hockey player when I am older and play the position of goalkeeper.
Beatrix
Favourite subject: My favourite subject is PE because I love sports and being active. My favourite sports are gymnastics and swimming and I love the swimming and gymnastics that we also have.
Future aspirations: When I grow up I would really like to be a sports coach at Bromley High because I think it would be lovely to come back to Bromley High School. I also want to have a part time job as a gymnastics coach because I would love to use all the skills I learnt at Bromley High in my future life.

Favourite subject: My favourite subject is P.E because it is fun and active, and the teachers are all very helpful. I am very sporty, so I love all the sports we do! My favourite sport is Gymnastics and I also like playing football. I am very proud of myself for getting into the school gymnastics squad!
Future aspirations: I would really like to be a veterinarian nurse and follow in my mum’s footsteps. I love animals very much so it would be amazing to help them get better. I still want to explore other options too as there are so many more opportunities out there.

Favourite subject: My favourite curriculum subject is music because I love it. In my lessons I get to experience so many different genres of music and I am learning all the time.
Future aspirations: My dream aspiration is to be a musical theatre actress and thanks to Bromley High Junior School, I feel that it will come true.
Holly
Favourite subject: My favourite subject is English. It is great fun as you can let your imagination run free with creative writing. I also love P.E. as all the teachers are supportive and I really like swimming, tennis and football.
Future aspirations: My aspirations for the future are maybe to work as a teacher or in childcare.

Favourite subject: My favourite subject is PE as I play lots of different sports and i have been to lots of different sports events and fixtures. I have played for lots of different teams too.
Future aspirations: When I’m older I would like to be a PE coach, especially tennis as I really like the sport and I am in the tennis squad.
Molly
Favourite subject: My favourite subjects are PE and Art because I am quite artistic and enjoy being creative. I also love being active and enjoy running and hurdles.
Future aspirations: When I am older, I would really love to be a chef as I enjoy cooking and would enjoy preparing food for others to enjoy.

Favourite subject: My favourite subject is Maths as I like the logical reasoning behind the questions. I enjoy figuring out questions step by step and cracking them. I also love sports and my favourite type of it is dance and gymnastics. I am proud of being selected to be in the school’s gym squad, as well as swim squad.
Future aspirations: My aspirations for the future are to be a doctor, or more specifically, an allergy specialist. I love Maths and Science so I feel that I would love this job. I love to work with other people and this job includes a lot of teamwork.

Favourite subject: My favourite subject: Is maths because I love solving new problems and find new problems to help me in the future as the teachers are very nice
Future aspirations: I want to be a doctor or a banker because both of my parents are bankers, and they always tell me about their job.

Favourite subject: My favourite subject is Art as I love drawing and draw in my own sketchbook all the time.
Future aspirations: I would like to be a fashion designer as I have my own sewing machine and like to design and make different dresses.
Abigail
Favourite subject: My favourite subject is PE because I am very energetic and I really enjoying being active. I thoroughly enjoy football as I love the feeling of being in a match and scoring the winning goal!
Future aspirations: I want to be a vet when I grow up because I love animals and I really want to know how to care for them when they are sick.
