This half term saw pupils enthusiastically participating in a range of engaging house events, showcasing their skills, creativity, and team spirit.

Firstly, a Spelling Bee was held on last week. While Speldhurst struggled on the day, Elmfield emerged as the winning house. Contestants faced some challenging words, including exaggerate, conscience, and parallel.

Secondly, the Cake Decorating Competition took place this week. Both Elmfield and Oakdene turned out in impressive numbers, with Oakdene narrowly taking the win with 28 participants – just one more than Elmfield. The event featured a range of beautiful designs and delicious cakes that were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
