Today in Reception the pupils enjoyed a fabulous Farm Day filled with lots of exciting activities.

In the morning they dressed as farmers or animals and took part in country and line dancing.  They also learnt about different animals and had great fun making scarecrows, fluffy plate sheep, woven wool carrots, designing their own farms, along with vegetable tasting and face painting.

After a lovely picnic lunch outside they set-up and ran farm-based stalls to showcase their learning experiences including hook-a duck, pin the tail on the donkey, farmer limbo and tin can alley.

Thank you to our Reception teachers for organising such an amazing day!
