The Junior School community enjoyed a wonderful assembly led by some of our girls to mark the end of Ramadan.
We found out what happens during this holy month in the Islamic calendar and the girls spoke passionately about their experiences and explained why Eid is so special for their family.
Zara wore her colourful dress and showed us her beautiful henna patterns on her hands.
“On Eid we wear fancy clothes like mine, wear henna on our hands, spend time with our loved ones, eat yummy food and give presents and money. It is a bit like our Christmas! Eid is my favourite celebration!” Zara, Year 2
