Following on from the Under 16 team’s outstanding performance at the County Round Qualifier in October, our Under 14 squad kept the momentum going. Last Wednesday, they headed to Rainham for the Kent County Schools Netball Qualifier, competing alongside 27 other strong teams.
In the morning group stage, the team secured first place in their group. After the regroupings, they needed to finish in the top two to qualify for the County Finals. It all came down to the final match against Sevenoaks, where outstanding team spirit and determination led to a narrow victory, making them joint winners of their group.
Winning both their morning and afternoon groups was a fantastic achievement, especially given the injuries they had to contend with on the day.
