Last week, Year 10 pupils were tasked with the exciting opportunity to design their own solutions to improve sustainable consumption and production at Bromley High School.
The GDST ‘Designing Our Change’ workshop, invited students from across the Trust to collaborate and cocreate ideas and initiatives to generate lasting positive impact for our community. Girls were immersed into the design thinking process for the day, to innovate and refine their solutions to a real-life challenge. The exploratory process was student-led and relied upon giving pupils the room to work collaboratively, cultivate creativity and learn by doing.
The pupils designed a number of imaginative solutions to improve the sustainability of Bromley High such as reducing food waste and electricity consumption as well as introducing initiatives to increase plastic recycling.
