Hungry for business? Our Year 8 and 9 pupils have been cooking up more than pizzas in their lunchtime Business Challenge club!

After identifying their target market, each team decided on their signature pizza, combining creativity with strategic thinking. To round off the Autumn term, pupils brought their ideas to life in our excellent Junior School Food Technology facilities, making their pizzas and testing them in a taste competition. The enthusiasm, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit on display were remarkable!
Currently, Pizza Planet is leading the challenge, £11,365.30 ahead with a total profit of £83,549.29. But who will take the largest slice of the profits by Easter and win the challenge?
“I have found it really empowering to learn how the financial side of a business is run, and it has given me the inspiration to be an entrepreneur in the future.”Rosie, Year 12 pupil
A huge thank you to Mr Bugden and Mrs Cox for helping our young entrepreneurs bring their virtual pizzas to life in the Food Technology room!
