Following their outstanding success in achieving Gold in the Bebras UK Challenge in November 2025, 17 Year 6 pupils joined Senior School pupils to compete in the Raspberry Pi Foundation Coding Challenge in March.
The tasks proved both rigorous and stimulating, prompting lively discussion and problem-solving throughout. We were delighted with the results: three pupils achieved a Merit and six were awarded a Distinction – a fantastic accomplishment.
Special mentions go to Lily and Charlotte, who achieved the ‘Best in School’ result.
In the Senior School, an impressive 166 pupils qualified for the challenge, tackling a wide range of tasks from block-based coding to more advanced Python programming. Special mentions go to Aoife, Amelie, Anastasia, Beatrice, Dorothy, Sienna and Jessica, who were all recognised with ‘Best in School’ awards.
Well done to everyone who took part – we look forward to another exciting competition next year!
