We are delighted to announce that the Bromley High School under 16 netball team were crowned Kent County Champions 2025 on Friday, after an incredible day at the finals in Rainham. Both our under 14 and under 16 teams had qualified through last month’s rounds and faced some of the strongest schools in the county.
The Kent County Netball Finals are part of the England Netball schools competition pathway, with schools first qualifying through county rounds. Winning the under 16 title means our team finished top of all eligible schools in Kent, a highly competitive field. The tournament showcases the best school teams in the county.
The under 14s battled through a series of intense matches, finishing an impressive 5th out of 27 schools. Several games went down to the final minutes, with narrow losses highlighting just how competitive the day was.
The under 16s started strongly with commanding wins that kept them in the hunt for the title. Cheered on by enthusiastic support from their fellow pupils, the team’s energy and determination shone through every match.
In a sensational finish, the under 16s overcame fierce opposition to claim the top spot. With this victory, they now advance to the regional finals in January. Congratulations to all players for their hard work, commitment at training, and outstanding performances on tournament day – and best of luck at regionals!
