Today, Bromley High School joined schools across the UK to celebrate Number Day 2026, combining mathematical curiosity with fundraising for the NSPCC.

Number Day activities ran throughout the school. Years 7 to 9 took part in the much-anticipated Teacher Hunt, with 24 members of staff wearing numbered rosettes and pupils completing a quiz by matching teachers to their numbers. Year 10 maths lessons incorporated a range of engaging maths games, while Year 11 pupils were warmly invited to a special lunchtime Minerva lecture with a strong financial focus. Pupils heard from Patrick Foley, Managing Director and founder of Sonar Financial Services. Patrick shared insights from his career supporting professional athletes, particularly footballers, helping them make informed financial decisions during and after their sporting careers.
To round off the celebrations, students are now looking ahead to the Bake Off for the NSPCC, with the charity bake sale taking place on Monday.
