Every year, young people who complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) are invited to mark their achievement at special garden parties held at Buckingham Palace. This year’s event held added significance, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the DofE Award, with a leader from each participating organisation also invited.
Mrs Savova joined our alumnae at the celebration, held in the presence of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Guests were also joined by inspirational Gold Award holders, including Gareth Malone OBE, Corinna Brown and Chloe Chong.
