Bromley High pupils have spent the weekend collecting self-care items and small luxuries to fill humanitarian care boxes to support people who have had to leave their homes and find refuge in neighbouring countries as a result of the crisis in Ukraine.
During their lunch break on Monday, girls from all year groups came together to pack the items into boxes, adding a thoughtful message to each box. The boxes have now started their journey to the Ukrainian border and will hopefully help to make life a little bit better for women, children and families.
Pupils also organised a bake sale, with all the money raised supporting humanitarian relief organisations working in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries. Together they raised £280 for The British Red Cross.
